Top Film & Television Apps in Europe on iOS: Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, several film and television apps on iOS in Europe showed varied performance trends according to Sensor Tower data. Here's a closer look at the top five apps in this category.

AlloCiné, les films au cinéma from Webedia experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, starting at around $312 and peaking at $364 in early May before declining to $190 by the end of June. Weekly downloads were more dynamic, beginning at 851 and rising to over 1.2K by late June. The app's active users also showed a notable peak at 309.8K mid-April, ending the quarter with 306.5K.

Hong Kong Movie 香港電影 saw minimal activity in Europe, with negligible downloads and active users remaining mostly stable around the 30s throughout the quarter.

Cinépolis had a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting from a single download to 89 by the end of June. Active users showed a steady rise, from 196 at the quarter's start to a peak of 508 in late May.

CINEPLEX Kinoprogramm had a robust download performance, starting at 3.2K and peaking at 4.3K in late May, before stabilizing. Active users mirrored this trend, with a peak at 106K in late April before stabilizing around 75.6K by the end of June.

UCI Kino showed consistent downloads, peaking at 1.6K in late May. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around the mid-30K range throughout the quarter.
